 Fantasy stories have long been significant in her life, with epic adventures through compelling environments providing an escape from the real. Taking inspiration from historical architecture and fashion, as well as the natural world, she hopes to foster this feeling of escapism in her illustrations, provoking the imagination by offering a sense of immersion, intrigue and magic.

 

 Her process is defined by drawing, with each illustration built from pages of sketching. This evolves into the use of traditional mediums such as ink and pencil to capture a hand-drawn feel, with bright colours and refinement added later through digital painting. She carefully considers lighting to build atmosphere and drama, enticing you into a story.
